Major International Airports and Visa Information
Noi Bai International Airport (www.hanoiairportonline.com) Located 45km from downtown Hanoi. A taxi flagged at the airport charges a fixed fare of 160,000 Vietnamese dong for a sedan, 190,000 Vietnamese dong for an SUV, both fares inclusive of toll charges. The ride to the city takes about half an hour. Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City (www.hochiminhcityairport.com) Located six kilometres north of Ho Chi Minh City. Official taxis are Vina (yellow), Vina-Sun (white) and Saigon taxis (green and white) and taxi coupons are issued at the airport next to the Exchange counter. A ride to the city should cost up to 160,000 Vietnamese dong. Official taxis have meters but negotiating a fixed price is possible. Buses and limousines are also available.

No visa is required for citizens of Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Laos for stays of not more than 30 days and for citizens of the Philippines for stays of not more than 21 days. Visas are not required for officials from ASEAN secretariats for up to 30 days. Citizens of Brunei, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Japan and South Korea are vis-exempt for stays of not more than 15 days.

Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (secc.com.vn) Located in Phu My Hung New City, 15 minutes from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City and 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Comprises of four indoor exhibition halls totaling 40,000m2, a 2,000-seat convention centre, underground parking, a high-rise office tower and two hotels (a 600-room four-star and a 400-room five-star). International Convention Centre, Hanoi Located in Ba Dinh District, the cultural and political centre of Hanoi. It has two units: Unit A contains a hall and five conference rooms ranging in size from 50m2 to 170m2; Unit B consists of 30 halls ranging in size from 30m2 to 780m2.
