Major International Airports and Visa Information
Melbourne Airport (www.melbourneairport.com.au) SkyBus runs an express bus service to the city 24/7 including public holidays. Adult tickets cost $16 (one-way) or $26 (return). On arrival at Southern Cross Station in the city, a complimentary hotel transfer service is provided from 0600 to 2200 Mondays to Fridays and from 0730 to 1730 Saturdays and Sundays excluding Christmas day. A return trip between the CBD and Melbourne Airport by taxi costs about A$80 to A$85, plus a A$2 taxi parking fee at the airport. Details are as listed in the airport's website.

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (www.mcec.com.au) Billed as the first and only environmentally-rated convention centre in the world. Offers 52 meeting rooms, a banquet hall and a plenary hall for up to 5,550 delegates that can be divided into three self-contained, acoustically separate theatres. The Melbourne Exhibition Centre is linked to the convention centre and features 30,000m2 of exhibition space, meeting rooms and a 466-seat auditorium.
